We are telling only family that we found out this morning that we are pregnant!! (I took the test at 5 this morning so that I could surprise Brad just in case I was pregnant). I am due July 10, so if it follows the other girls than it will be due right around my Dad's and Sister's b-day. Anyway just thought we would let you all in on our exciting news.

Hunter High Musical

This year I am in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor dream coat at Hunter High. Our performance dates are November 18th, 20th, 21st, and the 24th. at 7:00 p.m. When I get more information on the ticket prices and such I will let you know. Funny Prayer

Isaac said the family prayer last night and this is how it went....
Please bless that we won't have any bad dreams or nightmares or Leah or mom or me and dad. and please bless my green teddy that it won't have any bad dreams about bad toy teddy bears that have a button and can karate chop so he won't be scared.
After the prayer he looked at us and as we held back our laughter he said, "That was kind of silly wasn't it?" It was pretty funny to hear!

I bought a medium size shirt (don't know what I was thinking) well it was only $5 and it was pastel so I bought it. Anyway I am wondering if anyone wants to wear it for the pictures. If not I will just return it.

Do you like the flowers?

I guess for the pictures we have decided to wear Khaki's (even the kids) and to choose any color of pastel for your top. No tee shirts, but it doesn't have to be button up or a polo or anything fancy like that. Here is a picture of the shirts and pants I bought at Walmart for $6.50 each. Also here are the flowers that I bought. I thought that the white would go with everything . Should I go ahead and make the flowers? How many would you each want? Mom said that Charity may not be coming, but I will still make her a flower just in case. Jen do you want 2 for Katya, they are kind of big so I am not sure how they would look at the end of braids.

Picture Questions

So the 21st it is. So are we going to all wear khakis or jeans or something like that? How formal do we want our shirts to be? Are all the kids wearing dresses? What kid of flower do you want me to find? Do we want to have each family wearing the same color, or at least all the kids in each family wearing the same or are we just going to wear whatever? Sorry about all the questions but I just want to know what I need to buy or find in my house. You can just comment on this instead of emailing me that way everyone can read the comments and find out what everyone else is thinking. I personally would prefer khakis and I have one button up blue shirt, but not much else pastel. I do have matching purple dresses for my kids, but I am always up for an excuse to buy them more cute clothes.

We are doing pictures on the 21st. for sure. We are doing pastels for each family and every family should match. I'm not sure who gets what color. You guys can decide that.

high school

Well, it kinda sucks to be the bottom of the food chain..again. And everyone is so much bigger than me. there are TONS of people! My classes are going to kick my butt! It's really intimidating, especially in choir and drama. The food is gross. (the Junior high food was better than this stuff) When you ask a question the office or the counseling center answer it and look at you like your dumb or something! My band class sucks! (really, We suck!...BAD!) and you barely know anybody in like ALL of your classes. Other than that, I love High school!
I really do like it. It's just different.

School

How is school going for all of you? I am especially wondering how being in high school is for Sarah and how starting college feels for Melissa. Camille started up preschool again today and was really excited about it.

Kyle is going to be in town the weekend of Sept. 20th so I will check with the Hong's and see if we can do pictures sometime that weekend. We can celebrate Melissa's birthday that weekend too.

Flowers for Pictures

Do we know any more info about when the pictures will be? Maybe we could have them around the same time that we have Melissa's party so we can kill 2 birds with one car ride. Are we still planning on doing pastels? I just learned how to make flower clips, so I would love to make matching flowers for all of the "little" girls. Is Katya too old to wear them? I guess she could humor us for at least one more year. Anyway if we are wearing pastels than I was thinking that white flowers would be cute. Let me know what the plan is and if you are interested in having matching flowers.

updates

i thought of telling what has happened this week after i posted the other blog. i sorrta found a job this week at Post Net. the boss was supposed to call me today...didnt. but when i went in for the interview he said he wanted to hire me he just needed to figure out some scheduling. that was on tuesday. on wednes day i went to get a trim and came out with bangs! yay! only they are a bit too short for the style we were going for. but they will grow out. and then the date on friday.

Funnest date ever!

So yesterday Trent FINALLY took me on the date he and our friend Daniel had been planning since Valentine's day...but he broke his jaw and yadda yadda. So they picked up me and Danny's date Bethanie at 10 am and we went and did baptisms at the Salt Lake Temple. After that we went and got lunch at Arby's then went swimming for a couple hours. When we were done we went and got ready for dinner at danny's house. Bethanie and I took over the bathroom while the boy's cooked shrip alfreddo. mmmm so good! after dinner we went to Empress Theatre in Magna and saw our friend Curtis in Seven Brides for Seven Brothers. It was very good! I recommend to go see it! Then we picked up Sarah (day) and went to Barns and Noble for the Breaking Dawn party. Sadly Bethanies mom called 15 min. after we got there and said to just get the book somewhere else so she would be home earlier. :( so we went to Danny's and hung out for a while. when the night was over they dropped me off at Emily's to babysit while she was at a Young Women's sleepover. and i had a blast!

Melissa called me yesterday saying the guy CAN NOT do our pics on Sunday.

As for my family wearing black I was planning on doing an entire set of just our family in black for my front room and family room. Separate from the big family sitting.

What ever the whole family decides on to wear we will have that to wear as well.

Picture specifics

Are we for sure if we are going to do pictures this weekend? If we are then I think that we should really discuss what to wear. Jen said she had wanted her family to wear black, and mom had suggested pastels. I just want to know so I can make sure I have clothes that match and don't have stains on them. What time is Jen going to be getting back? You know if another week would work better we can work it out to come down another time. I don't want it to be any more stressful than it will already be.

Fam Pics

We are most likely going to be in town this Sunday. A roommate of mine is getting married Saturday so we will be in Provo for that. We may stay in Provo or in West Valley Saturday night. So we would be up for pictures on Sunday. What would we wear? We would probably have to plan ahead more than just a week to get us all "matching". But beside this trip down we don't have any plans right now to come down any time soon. Of course we could come down for pictures another time if we planned ahead. Let us know what is best so we can plan for it. By the way what time is Ellie's blessing?

I am posting a slide show of the pictures that I had edited so you can see if you want any of them. The Hongs would lke to take another set of family pictures for us because they feel like they didn't turn out very well and they have learned alot in the past year. So as soon as we can all get together we can do that.

Finally pictures!

We finally have family pictures from last summer! I ordered some today from Costco and will let you know how they turn out. We had a fun day today, our water heater started pouring out water from the top and all over the floor. Luckily Sarah saw it and eventually we figured out to hook up a hose and drain it. It must be the week for broken things.

Girls Camp

Girls Camp was SO much fun. The theme was "Camp Survivor" I was a fourth level a.k.a. tribe sariah. (that means that next year I get to be a J.L. (junior leader) I am SO excited! It was stake girls camp but, luckily we slept with our wards this time! I was SO happy. I mostly hung out with the 4th ward, until Kirsten(one of my best friends came up on Friday morning. EARLY morning too. They showed up just in time for Breakfast so that means that they left before 6 a.m. WOW! I was a day late for girls camp because I went to the American Idol concert. Which was SO much fun! Me and my dad went up on Wednesday morning. dark and early. Melissa left a day early so that she could go on a boating trip with the Young single adults. Me, and Kirsten, and Becki Rausch took SO many pictures! (Becki is the one with the red hair, Kirsten is the other that's not me) Girls Camp was so much fun. I had such a fun time. Me and my friend Missy pulled a prank on the fourth ward. We T.P.ed one of their tents and we put toilet seat covers on their trailer. Then WE PLASTERED the bathroom with the toilet seat covers, Khristine Alvarado helped with that part, Then we put Bras on MY tent. that was SO much fun! The next morning Becki, Kirsten , and Melissa wore then over their shirts and they got in trouble. Well, Kirsten and Becki did anyway. Me, Dad, Kirsten , and Becki had to stay a little bit after to make sure everything was done. So we left about a half hour later than every one else. The slide show is mostly of me, Kirsten, and Becki. Ha ha Getting home was the BEST part. except I had to vacuum out the suburban BEFORE I took a shower. But, the shower was Amazing! It was the BEST shower I have ever taken in my Entire life! I rubbed my head with shampoo for like more than 5 minutes! It fely SO good to be CLEAN! I LOVED it! (I think I am getting pretty good at these. their fun to do though.)

Tea time

We were invited over to my friends house for a tea party! I had no idea she was going all out. When we got there all the girls were trying on princess dresses and jewelry, it was so cute. The girls were treated like little princesses and the boys were the kings so they had to sit up higher than everyone else. She even made a little cake and finger foods for them. It was so much fun that I have decided to theme Leahs birthday party around it. We want to have it on Saturday the 26th of July. Will you be here Janelle?/

Sarah's new look

I got a haircut and I really like it. It is so much shorter. I got layers and bangs, which I love! I didn't have enough hair to donate and keep it long enough so I only got about 5 inches cut off. look how long it was before I cut it. I put a before and after so that you could get the full effect. ignore my weird stuff, thats how I take pictures. ha ha

First try

Here goes my first attempt! I might need lessons next time I see you Janelle! I'm looking forward to the family reunion in a month. How about the rest of you? I thought it would be fun to bring materials for the girls to make cards sometime while we are there, or gift tags for Christmas and birthdays. What do the rest of you think?
